The Macedonian Call

In Acts 16:9, the apostle Paul heard the call,
“Come over and help!”
This is commonly referred to as “The Macedonian Call.”
In a similar way, God is inviting Canadian Christians to reach out with The JESUS film to touch the lives of previously unreached people groups.
Possibly God is calling you to the Canadian Macedonian Project!
Campus Crusade for Christ, Canada has committed to making 20 – 30 new translations of the JESUS film each year, targeting tribal languages of the least reached people of the world. Illiteracy in these people groups often reaches more than 80%. But through the Macedonian Project these tribes will say, “Jesus speaks my language!”
Honored recently by Campus Crusade for 25 years of ministry, John and Linda Driediger have been asked to head up this Canadian Macedonian Project. Their experience well qualifies them. For several years they took teams of Christians on short-term mission assignments showing the JESUS film in major languages to many countries of the world.
Long-time members of the Sevenoaks Alliance Church in Abbotsford, John and Linda most recently worked overseas on loan from Campus Crusade for Christ to the Christian & Missionary Alliance in Russia and Serbia, establishing new churches and training indigenous Christian leaders to continue the ministry. Now they are once again looking forward to leading short-term groups of dedicated Canadian Christians seeking to reach the unreached for Jesus Christ.
Ken and Eileen Priebe are assisting the Driedigers by leading teams from the Okanagan area. The Priebe’s have served with the North American Baptist Mission as missionaries in Cameroon, West Africa.
Training is provided for all volunteers for the Macedonian Project. For example, the next trip with the Driedigers will be ten days in Guatemala over the year end. After an orientation and training period, the Canadian volunteers will go out with their indigenous Guatemalan CCC leaders. There, volunteers will show a new translation of the JESUS film to the 400,000 Ketchi people group, most of whom have never heard the Gospel in their own tongue.
John and Linda say, “If you join us on our mission trips you could possibly see more people come to Christ than most people do in a lifetime at home. Be prepared for a life-changing experience.” Come over and help!
