Recommended Christian Chat Rooms

Christian chat rooms are fast becoming communities where Christians, new and old, meet.

People are being discipled from these chat rooms and are growing in their faith.

Chat rooms are fast becoming a popular medium to hold a Bible study group, or homegroup.

They are great for people who can't easily get out of their home.

They are a great place to direct people that you are mentoring. They are convenient and people can grow in Christ from the comfort of their home.

Having a one-on-one email relationship with you as a mentor is preferable because it is more personal and has the opportunity for a trusting friendship to develop, but the chat room is a great supplement and resource for their spiritual questions and growth.

Recommended Chatting
The chat rooms which we recommend have scheduled topics and these times are moderated by trained hosts or hostesses. We recommend these scheduled times for people who want to grow in their faith.

Topics include discussions on:

Living with Integrity
Fear and Anxiety
Learning God's ways
Beating Stress from a Christian perspective
Finding Freedom in Forgiveness
Prayer
Learning to Love Again and many more.

People can remain anonymous and it is recommended that they do. All that is required is that a nickname (user name) be entered. No personal information is asked for or required.

We suggest that you just visit one of these chat rooms a few times first before sending anyone else to it. Once you have visited and watched you will start to feel more comfortable with it. It is not necessary to type any words. It is alright to just watch the dialogue.

When you click on one of the links below you will come to what is called a lobby. At the bottom of this page is the schedule with the topics. You are welcome to enter the chat room at any time, as many people do, but the unscheduled times are not moderated by a host or hostess.

To enter the chat room all that you need to do is type in a nickname (user name) in the first box near the top of the lobby page and then click on connect. And that is all. It is simple.

To exit the chat room, click on the button called logout.
